Armada 2023

The 2023 edition of the Armada will take place from June 8 to 18. This event will gather a large number of visitors in Rouen. The Cathedral will also welcome a large number of visitors during these ten days.

We have at heart to present the Cathedral, not only under the historical and architectural aspect, but above all under the pastoral aspect, thus manifesting the presence of the Christian community which inhabits this place.

Everyday

  • Weekday masses at 10:00 am, except Monday June 12 (the Cathedral is closed on monday morning).
  • Confessions in several languages (schedules available in the "events" section).
  • Adoration time from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Chapelle de la Vierge concluded by the office of vespers. No Vespers on Saturday June 17 due to the St Evode Concert.
  • Spiritual animation at the beginning of each hour (reading of a biblical passage, Our Father prayer and oration).
  • Carving demonstration with Sophie Gratias (formerly "Les Racines du Ciel" from the Martainville street).
  • Photo exhibition in the north and south transepts on the theme: "Presence (s)" produced by the photo club of Saint Jacques sur Darnétal.
  • Guided tours at 11:00 am and 2:30 pm (in French).

One-time events

  • Saturday June 10, 5:30 pm : Praise concert with the Beatitudes collective..
  • Sunday June 11, 5:00 pm : Vespers and procession for the feast of the Body and Blood of Christ.
  • Tuesday June 13, 7:00 pm : Concert by the University Hospital Choir.
  • Friday June 16, 3:30 pm : Musical about Ste Jeanne d'Arc by the Maîtrise St Evode (concert for schoolchildren).
  • Saturday June 17, 6:00 pm & 8:00 pm : Musical about Ste Jeanne d'Arc by the Maîtrise St Evode (concert open to all – free entrance).
  • Friday June 9, Wednesday June 14 and Friday June 16, 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm : Concerts of the great organ of the Cathedral.
  • Sunday June 11, Monday June 12, Wednesday June 14, Thursday June 15, Friday June 16 and Sunday June 17 from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm : Carillon concerts.
  • From Sunday June 11 to Sunday June 17, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm : Carillon visits.
